These are gentle walks of up to 3 miles, taking approximately 1.5 - 2 hours. Walks normally take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month starting at 10.30am. Short Walk and Christmas Lunch - WEDNESDAY 11th December Our next outing is on WEDNESDAY 11th December when Ray will lead on the Short Walk before we have Christmas Lunch. Meeting at Davenport Golf Club for 10.30, where we walk down the path to Middlewood Road, then up to Macclesfield Canal, along the towpath before turning down Prince's incline and back to Golf Club. The walk will take about 1.5 hrs; it is flat but could be muddy. This gives us time to change into our Festive jumpers plus a change of shoes, before we indulge in the delights of our Christmas Lunch at 12.30. Joyce.
