These are gentle walks of up to 3 miles, taking approximately 1.5 - 2 hours. Walks normally take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month starting at 10.30am. Info on the Short Walk on Tuesday 8th April 2025 Mary will be leading the next Short Walk and she has sent the following information. Walk starting at Brabyns Park car park, meeting at 10.30am. Turn right onto Torkington Road Hazel grove and go straight on to the lights. Turn right heading for marple. Carry on to the next traffic lights and then turn left onto Station Road. Straight on to Brabyns Park on the left. Go to the top of the road and on the left is the car park. It's free. We then go across Brabyms park to Compstal Road to Etherow Park, where we do a circular walk around the lake. Cafe at the end if we want a drink and snack. Then return to Brabyns.
