LLANDUDNO FOR THE VICTORIAN EXTRAVAGANZA AND TRANSPORT FESTIVAL - Sunday 4th May
We will leave the High School at 9.30am and head to the lovely seaside town of Llandudno. Every May Day Bank Holiday weekend, the town plays host to a Victorian Extravaganza featuring a Victorian street fair, old time fair rides, fun stalls, steam engines, people dressed in Victorian costume, street parades at 12 midday each day and other street entertainment. This fantastic event is free to attend and is now in its 40th year. There is also a Transport Festival on at the same time, held on the sea-front showground, with a free shuttle bus service from the town. There is an admission charge of £9 for the Transport Festival. You can spend the day how you please before returning to the coach for our departure at 5pm. We expect to be back in Poynton around 6.30 - 7pm.
